The cave is located near the village of Nyakagyera, which is well-marked. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as the roads can be bumpy.

    To reach Nyakagyera Cave using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Buhoma or Nkuringo to Kabale town. The fare is approximately 10,000 UGX. Once in Kabale, you can hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Nyakagyera Cave. The boda-boda ride will cost around 5,000 to 10,000 UGX depending on negotiation. Inform the rider that you want to go to Nyakagyera Cave, as they will be familiar with the area.
