Car
If you are traveling by car, head towards the main road leading to the southern entrance of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Drive along the road until you reach the sign for 'Rugando'. Turn off the main road and follow the signs for Pangolin Rescue Camp. The camp is located at coordinates 3JG7+53, Rugando. Look for local signs or ask locals if you need directions, as this area can be a bit tricky to navigate.

Public Transportation
To reach Pangolin Rescue Camp using public transportation, first take a bus or a shared taxi from Kampala or another major town to Kabale. From Kabale, you can catch a taxi (commonly known as 'boda-boda') or a shared taxi heading to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Ask the driver to drop you off near Rugando. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the camp, following local signs or asking locals for help. Be prepared for a small fee for the taxi ride, usually around UGX 10,000 to 20,000, depending on your starting point.

If you prefer a quicker option from a nearby location, you can hire a boda-boda to take you directly to Pangolin Rescue Camp. This is especially useful if you are traveling from Rugando or another nearby village. The fare typically ranges from UGX 5,000 to UGX 15,000 depending on the distance. Make sure to negotiate the price before starting your journey.
