For those using public transportation, head to the main bus terminal in Kampala. Look for a 'Matatu' (shared taxi) heading to Namugongo. The fare is usually around 1,000 - 2,000 UGX. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Namugongo junction. From there, you can walk about 1.5 km along Naalya-Namugongo Road toward the museum. Alternatively, you can hire a motorcycle taxi (Boda Boda) from the junction to the museum for about 3,000 - 5,000 UGX.
