Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, head towards Kampala on the Jinja-Kampala Highway (A-7). From Jinja, take the A-7 road and follow it towards Kampala. Once you reach Kampala, follow the signs to Entebbe via the Entebbe Expressway. After approximately 38 km on the expressway, take the exit toward Entebbe town. Follow signs to Nakiwogo, which is a suburb of Entebbe. Equator Entebbe is located at Entebbe Nakiwogo, near the lakefront. Parking is available near the site.

• Public Transportation - Matatu

  To travel by matatu (shared taxi), you can catch one from Jinja to Kampala at the Jinja Old Taxi Park. The fare is typically around 3,000 to 5,000 UGX. Once you arrive at the Kampala Taxi Park, look for a matatu heading to Entebbe Nakiwogo. The fare to Entebbe should be about 5,000 to 10,000 UGX. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you can ask the driver to drop you off near the Equator landmark, which is well-known and easy to locate.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  For a more comfortable journey, consider taking a bus from Jinja to Entebbe. Various bus companies operate this route, and you can catch a bus from Jinja Bus Park. The fare is generally around 10,000 UGX. Buses take you directly to Entebbe, and you can ask the conductor to notify you when you reach Nakiwogo. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the Equator Entebbe landmark.

• Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

  If you prefer a quicker and more direct route once in Entebbe, you can hire a boda boda. Negotiate the fare ahead of time, typically around 3,000 to 5,000 UGX for a short ride to Equator Entebbe from anywhere in the city. Just be cautious and ensure you wear a helmet for safety.
