    If you are traveling by car, start from Jinja, which is a central point in Eastern Region. Take the Jinja-Kamuli road for approximately 40 kilometers until you reach Kamuli Town. From Kamuli, follow the signs to Kakiri via the Kamuli-Kakiri road. This will involve a drive of around 30 kilometers. Once you reach Kakiri, navigate to C99R+HJR, where Simbamanyo is located. Ensure you have a GPS or maps app handy to guide you through the local streets once in Kakiri.

  • Public Transportation (Matatu)

    To reach Simbamanyo via public transportation, head to the Jinja Bus Park and look for a matatu heading to Kamuli. The fare is approximately 10,000 UGX. Once you arrive in Kamuli, switch to another matatu heading to Kakiri. This leg of the journey should cost about 5,000 UGX. Upon arriving in Kakiri, ask locals for directions to C99R+HJR. It is a short walk or you can hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) for about 2,000 UGX to take you directly to Simbamanyo.

  • Boda-Boda

    If you are in nearby towns like Mukono, you can hire a boda-boda directly to Simbamanyo. The prices may vary, but it should be around 15,000-25,000 UGX depending on your starting point. Ensure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
