If you are in the central area of Kampala, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops. Head north on Jinja Road (also known as Kamuli Road) until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Mawanda Road. Turn left onto Mawanda Road and continue straight. After a few minutes, look for Plot 225 on your right. Great Lakes Wonders is located just off Mawanda Road.

For those who prefer walking, you can start from the city center, perhaps from the Uganda Museum. Head north on Kira Road until you reach the junction with Jinja Road. Cross over to Jinja Road and continue walking north. When you reach the traffic lights at Mawanda Road, turn left and walk for about 15 minutes until you see Plot 225 on your right.

If you're looking for a quicker option, you can take a Boda Boda from anywhere in Kampala. Simply tell the driver to take you to Plot 225 Off Mawanda Road. It’s a well-known location, so they should be familiar with it. The ride will vary in time depending on traffic but typically takes about 10-20 minutes from the city center.

Public Transport (Matatu)
To reach Great Lakes Wonders via public transport, look for a Matatu heading to Kawempe. You can catch these Matatus at various points in the city, such as near the Old Taxi Park. Once you are on board, ask the conductor to drop you off at the Mawanda Road junction. From there, walk a short distance (approximately 5-10 minutes) down Mawanda Road until you find Plot 225 on your right.
