Boda Boda
To reach the Kasubi Tombs, you can take a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) from anywhere in Kampala. Simply ask the driver to take you to Kasubi Tombs on Masiro Road, and ensure they know the location. If you're unsure, you can show them the address: 8HH3+H76, Masiro Rd, Kampala. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic.
Walking
If you're near the city center, you can walk to Kasubi Tombs. Start from the Uganda Museum located on Kira Road. Head northwest towards the junction with Jinja Road. Continue on Jinja Road until you reach the Nakulabye area. From there, turn onto Masiro Road, which is well-marked. The Kasubi Tombs will be on your right. The walk will take approximately 40-50 minutes.
Matatu (shared taxi)
You can catch a Matatu heading towards Rubaga. From the city center, find a Matatu at the designated Matatu stage near the Post Office. Confirm with the conductor that they are going to Rubaga. Once you arrive at Rubaga, disembark and ask for directions to Masiro Road. It's a short walk from the Matatu drop-off point to the Kasubi Tombs, which should take around 10 minutes.
