Getting There

Walking

From the center of Lira, head south on Okello Road until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout and keep walking along Apala Road. You will pass several local shops and eateries. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will notice signs for Got Ngetta on your right. Follow the signs until you reach the entrance of the nature preserve.
Bicycle

If you have access to a bicycle, start from Lira Main Market and cycle south down Okello Road. When you reach the roundabout, continue straight onto Apala Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, keep an eye out for the signs leading to Got Ngetta on your right. This route is relatively flat and offers a pleasant ride through the local scenery.
Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)

From any location in Lira, you can hire a motorbike taxi (boda boda) to Got Ngetta. Make sure to inform the driver that you want to go to Apala Road.
