Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)
From the center of Masaka, head towards the main road (Masaka-Kampala Road). Look for a Boda Boda station, which is often located near small markets or bus stations. Inform the driver you want to go to Banda Lodge. The driver will take you along the main road, approximately 5 kilometers, and then turn off onto a smaller road leading to the lodge. The ride should take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking
If you enjoy walking, you can start from the central Masaka market. Head south towards the Masaka-Kampala Road for about 1 kilometer. Once you reach the main road, follow it heading east for about 4 kilometers until you see a sign for Banda Lodge on your right. Note that this is a longer journey (around 1.5 hours) and it is advisable to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
Bicycle Rental
In Masaka, you can find several places that rent bicycles. Rent a bike and start from the town center, heading towards the Masaka-Kampala Road. Cycle along the main road for about 5 kilometers. After about 15-20 minutes, watch for a sign on your right for Banda Lodge. This option allows you to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
