Experience Masaka Cultural Resort

Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Masaka Central Market, located on Kampala Road. Head south on Kampala Road until you reach the junction with Bukoba Road. Turn left onto Bukoba Road and continue walking straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by several shops and local eateries along the way. Look for signs pointing to Kirimya village. As you approach Kirimya village, keep an eye out for the Masaka Cultural Resort on your right, just off the road.

  • Bicycle

    Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Masaka. Start your journey from Masaka Central Market and ride south on Kampala Road. Turn left onto Bukoba Road at the junction. Continue cycling straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Kirimya village. You will see the Masaka Cultural Resort on your right-hand side just off the main road. Be cautious of pedestrians and local traffic.

  • Boda Boda (Motorcycle Taxi)

    Find a Boda Boda stand near your location in Masaka. Inform the driver that you want to go to Masaka Cultural Resort in Kirimya village. The driver will take you along Kampala Road and then to Bukoba Road. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off just outside the resort entrance.

  • Local Taxi (Matatu)

    Head to the nearest Matatu stage in Masaka. Look for a matatu heading towards Kyotera or Mutukula. Once you board, inform the conductor that you want to alight at Kirimya village. The Matatu will drop you off near the junction with Bukoba Road. From there, walk approximately 200 meters along Bukoba Road, and you will find the entrance to Masaka Cultural Resort on your right.
