Walking
From the center of Mbarara, start at the Mbarara Main Market. Head southeast on Market Street for about 500 meters until you reach the junction with the Mbarara-Kabale Road. Turn left onto Mbarara-Kabale Road and continue walking for approximately 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Mbarara-Bushenyi Road. Walk for another 1.5 km, keeping an eye out for local signs directing you towards Nkokonjeru. After about 1.5 km, you should see a sign for Nkokonjeru Tombs on your left. Follow this path for about 200 meters until you reach the tombs.

If you're renting a bicycle in Mbarara, start from the Mbarara Main Market. Head southeast on Market Street for about 500 meters, then turn left onto Mbarara-Kabale Road. Continue on this road for approximately 1 km until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Mbarara-Bushenyi Road. Cycle for about 1.5 km, and look for signs directing you to Nkokonjeru. After 1.5 km, take the left turn at the sign for Nkokonjeru Tombs and proceed down the path for about 200 meters to reach your destination.

After about 3 km, the driver will drop you off at the sign for Nkokonjeru on the left. Walk about 200 meters down the path to reach the tombs.
