Start from the center of Mbarara town, specifically at the Mbarara Main Market. Head south on Masaka Road until you reach the junction with Ruti Road. Turn left onto Ruti Road and continue straight for about 1 kilometer. Keep an eye out for local signs directing you towards Rwizi Falls. After about 10 minutes of walking, you will see a small footpath on your right leading towards the falls area. Follow this path until you reach the Mbarara River Rwizi Falls.

If you have access to a bicycle, begin at the Mbarara Main Market. Cycle south along Masaka Road. After approximately 1 kilometer, take a left turn onto Ruti Road. Continue on Ruti Road for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs towards Rwizi Falls. After a few minutes, you will find a footpath leading to the falls area. Secure your bicycle in a safe location before exploring the falls.

Public Transport (Boda Boda)
From the Mbarara Main Market, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi). Inform the driver that you want to go to Mbarara River Rwizi Falls. The ride will take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to the falls. From there, follow the path indicated by locals or signs leading to the falls.
