  • Private Car

    If you're traveling by private car, start your journey in Arua, the largest city in West Nile. Head east on the Arua-Koboko road (A1) for approximately 36 kilometers. Then, take a left turn onto the road towards Mount Wati. Continue on this road for about 15 kilometers until you reach the foot of the mountain. There is usually no entrance fee, but be sure to ask locals for the best parking options.

    To reach Mount Wati via public transport, go to the main taxi park in Arua. Look for taxis heading to Koboko and inform the driver that you want to stop at the Mount Wati turn-off. The fare is usually around 5,000 to 10,000 UGX. Once you reach the turn-off, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda-boda) for about 10,000 UGX to take you to the foot of Mount Wati.
