Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start your journey from any major city in the Black Sea region, such as Odesa or Mykolaiv. From Odesa, take the M-14 highway toward Mykolaiv. Continue on this road for approximately 140 km until you reach the town of Ochakiv. From Ochakiv, follow the signs to the coastline where you can access the Chorne Sea. Be aware that parking may be limited near the beach areas, so plan accordingly.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Odesa to Mykolaiv, which usually departs from the Odesa Central Bus Station. The bus ride takes about 2-3 hours and costs approximately 100 UAH. Once in Mykolaiv, transfer to a local bus or minivan heading to Ochakiv, which costs around 50 UAH and takes about 30 minutes. Upon arriving in Ochakiv, you can either walk to the beach area or take a taxi for around 50 UAH to get closer to the Chorne Sea.
