Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the nearest major city, Uzhhorod. From Uzhhorod, take the E50 highway heading northeast towards Mukachevo. After about 45 km, take the exit toward Mukachevo and follow the signs for the M-06 highway. Continue on M-06 for approximately 30 km until you reach the outskirts of the town of Khust. From Khust, follow the signs toward the village of Iza and then to the village of Velykyi Bychkiv. After reaching Velykyi Bychkiv, take the local roads leading into the Chornohirsʹkyy Zapovidnyy Masyv. Be aware that some roads may be unpaved and may require a high-clearance vehicle.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Chornohirsʹkyy Zapovidnyy Masyv via public transportation, you can first take a train or bus from Uzhhorod to Mukachevo. Once in Mukachevo, look for a bus heading to Khust. From Khust, you can catch a local bus or a marshrutka (minibus) to Velykyi Bychkiv. Upon arriving in Velykyi Bychkiv, you may need to hire a local taxi or arrange for a guided tour to take you into the Chornohirsʹkyy Zapovidnyy Masyv.
