If you are starting from the center of Chernihiv, make your way to the main square, Soborna Square (Соборна площа). From there, head northeast towards the intersection of Hoholya Street (вул. Гоголя) and Shevchenka Street (вул. Шевченка). Continue straight onto Hoholya Street, and follow the road as it curves slightly to the right. After about 1 kilometer, you will see the beautiful Transfiguration Cathedral on your left, located at 14000 Chernihiv, Chernihiv Oblast.

To reach Transfiguration Cathedral using public transport, find the nearest bus stop and take bus number 2 or 5, which travels towards the Desnyanskyi district. Alight at the stop marked 'Sofiivska Street' (вул. Софійська). From there, walk south towards the intersection with Hoholya Street. Continue down Hoholya Street for about 500 meters, and you will find the Transfiguration Cathedral on your left.
