If you're traveling by car, Chufut-Kale is accessible via the regional road R26. From Simferopol, head south toward Bakhchisarai. After about 35 km, follow the signs to Chufut-Kale. You will need to park at the designated area in Bakhchisarai, as cars are not allowed in the immediate vicinity of Chufut-Kale. The parking fee is approximately 50-100 RUB for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Chufut-Kale via public transport, take a marshrutka (minibus) from Simferopol to Bakhchisarai. The journey takes about 40-60 minutes and costs around 100-150 RUB. Once you arrive in Bakhchisarai, you can walk to the foot of the hill leading to Chufut-Kale. The walk is about 30 minutes and is moderately steep, so wear comfortable shoes.
