Car
If you are traveling by car, start by heading towards the town of Sevastopol. From Sevastopol, take the E105 highway heading east. Follow the signs for Balaklava and continue along the coastline. After passing Balaklava, follow the road as it curves around the peninsula toward Cape Fiolent. Keep an eye out for the signs for Mys Nikolaya (Cape Nicholas) as you approach. There is parking available near the cape. The total driving distance from Sevastopol is approximately 30 kilometers and will take around 40 minutes.
Public Transportation
To reach Mys Nikolaya by public transportation, take a bus from Sevastopol to Balaklava. Buses run frequently from the Sevastopol bus station; the fare is approximately 25-30 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia). Once you arrive in Balaklava, you can either take a taxi or enjoy a scenic walk along the coast towards Mys Nikolaya, which is about 5 kilometers away. The walk will take around 1-1.5 hours, and you will be treated to beautiful views of the coastline.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Sevastopol directly to Mys Nikolaya. This option is the quickest and most convenient, taking approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.
