Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Dragobrat. Make your way towards the main ski slopes. Follow the road that leads upward to the ski resorts. Keep an eye out for signs pointing toward Mt. Troyaska, which is a well-known landmark in the area. The journey from Dragobrat to Mt. Troyaska is approximately 2 kilometers and should take around 10 minutes by car. Please note that the roads can be narrow and may require a vehicle with good clearance, especially in winter conditions.
Hiking
For those who prefer to hike, you can start from the main ski area in Dragobrat and follow the marked hiking trails towards Mt. Troyaska. The hike is about 2 kilometers and typically takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on your pace. The trails are well-marked, but be sure to wear appropriate footwear as the terrain can be rocky. Bring water and snacks, as there are no facilities along the way.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, first take a bus or train to Yaremche or Ivano-Frankivsk. From Yaremche, you can catch a local minibus to Dragobrat. Once in Dragobrat, you can either hike to Mt. Troyaska as described above or hire a local taxi, which may cost around 100-150 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia) for the short ride to the base of the mountain.
