Car
If you are driving from Kyiv Reservoir, start by heading towards the main road (H-01). Follow the signs for Kyiv and merge onto H-01. Continue on H-01 for approximately 20 km until you reach the outskirts of Kyiv. Take the exit towards Holosiivskyi Avenue (Holosiivskyi prospekt) and continue straight. After about 5 km, turn right onto Vulytsya Akademika Tronʹka. The National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine will be on your left at Vulytsya Akademika Tronʹka, 1. Parking is available on-site, but may incur a fee.

To reach the National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine using public transport, start by taking a bus or a minibus from Kyiv Reservoir to the nearest metro station (look for routes heading to 'Vystavkovyi Tsentr' metro station). Once at the metro station, take the metro line 1 (Red Line) towards 'Heroiv Dnipra' and travel for 5 stops. Get off at the 'Vystavkovyi Tsentr' station. Exit the station and walk approximately 1.5 km north towards Holosiivskyi Avenue. Turn left onto Vulytsya Akademika Tronʹka, and you’ll find the museum at Vulytsya Akademika Tronʹka, 1. Be aware that the metro ticket costs about 8 UAH.
