Alternatively, if you are near the city center, you can take a bus or tram to 'Hrushevskoho' street and then walk towards the river. Look for routes that stop near the 'Pivdennyi' bridge, which is close to the South Bridge.

If you choose to walk from the city center, head towards the Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square). From there, take Khreshchatyk Street down to the river.
