Metro
Start your journey by taking the Kyiv Metro. If you are near the central area, head to the 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti' station. From 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti', take the Metro Line 2 (the red line) towards 'Kozatskyi Shliakh'. Get off at 'Vokzalna' station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the 'Halytska Sq' exit.

Walking
After exiting the metro at 'Vokzalna', walk towards 'Halytska Sq'. You will see signs directing you to Halytska Square. Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the square. The Obelisk of the Hero City will be prominently visible in the square.

Bus
Alternatively, if you prefer to take a bus, from 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti', walk to the nearby bus stop and take bus number 114 towards 'Halytska Sq'. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the 'Halytska Sq' bus stop, and the Obelisk will be a short walk from there.

Tram
From 'Maidan Nezalezhnosti', you can also take tram number 18. Board the tram and ride for about 10 minutes. Get off at the 'Halytska Sq' stop. The Obelisk of the Hero City is located right in the square, making it easy to spot.
