Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the central area of Lviv, head towards Rynok Square (Market Square). Once there, locate the Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which is a prominent landmark. From the church, walk northeast along Serbska Street until you reach the intersection with Virmens'ka Street. Turn left onto Virmens'ka Street and continue walking straight for about 300 meters. St. Christopher's Column will be on your right, easily identifiable by its tall structure and historical significance.

  • Public Transportation (Tram)

    From the main railway station (Lviv's Train Station), take Tram number 1 or 9. Ride the tram until you reach the 'Teatralna' stop. After disembarking, walk northwest towards Virmens'ka Street, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Follow Virmens'ka Street until you see St. Christopher's Column on your left. The column is located near the intersection of Virmens'ka and the surrounding streets.

    Starting from the High Castle Park, walk down from the park towards the city center. As you descend, head towards the Lviv National Opera House. From the Opera House, walk east along Svobody Avenue until you reach the 'Avangard' Cinema. From the cinema, take a right onto Shevchenka Avenue and then a left onto Virmens'ka Street. Continue walking for about 400 meters, and you will find St. Christopher's Column on your left side.
