If you are starting from the Lviv Opera House, head east on Svobody Avenue (Prospect Svobody). Continue walking straight for about 600 meters. You will see the Taras Shevchenko Monument on your left at the intersection with the street leading to the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. The monument is located in a small park area, making it a pleasant walk.

From Rynok Square, walk north towards the Market Square exit. Once you exit the square, turn right onto Tarasa Shevchenka Street. Continue straight until you reach Svobody Avenue. Turn left on Svobody Avenue and walk about 300 meters. The Taras Shevchenko Monument will be on your right, near the park.

Starting from the High Castle Park, walk down towards the city center. Take the path leading down to Lviv's main streets. Once you reach the crossroads, turn left onto Svobody Avenue. Continue walking for about 900 meters, and the Taras Shevchenko Monument will be on your left, located within a green area, surrounded by benches and trees.
