Getting There

Walking
From Rynok Square, head west towards the main street, Halytska Street. As you exit the square, you will see the statue of Adam Mickiewicz in front of you. Walk straight down Halytska Street for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with Svobody Avenue. Turn right onto Svobody Avenue and continue walking for another 200 meters. The Lviv National Opera will be on your left at Svobody Ave, 28.

Public Transport
Although Lviv National Opera is very close to Rynok Square, if you prefer to take public transport, you can use the tram system. Walk to the nearest tram stop named 'Mickiewicz Square' which is about a 5-minute walk from Rynok Square. At the tram stop, take tram number 1 or 2 towards 'Stryiskyi Park'. After two stops, get off at 'Teatr Opery' stop. From there, it is a short 3-minute walk to the opera house, located at Svobody Ave, 28. Please note that a tram ticket costs around 8 UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia).
