If you are traveling by car, start from the city center of Sumy. Head southwest on Shevchenka Street towards Kirova Street. Continue on Kirova Street until you reach the junction with Gagarina Street, and turn left. Follow Gagarina Street until you reach the roundabout, and take the first exit onto Sviobody Avenue. Continue straight for approximately 2 kilometers. You will see the Sugar Monument on your right, located in a small park area adjacent to the road.

To reach the Sugar Monument by public transport, take bus number 1 or 2 from the central bus station in Sumy. Buses run frequently throughout the day and the fare is approximately 10 UAH. Get off at the 'Sviobody Avenue' stop. From there, walk approximately 500 meters southwest along Sviobody Avenue. The Sugar Monument will be on your right, situated in a small park area.
