Walking
If you are in the center of Sumy, begin your journey at the Sumy Central Park (Парк ім. Щепкіна). From the main entrance of the park, head east along Pushkina Street (вулиця Пушкіна) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Krymska Street (вулиця Кримська). You should see the regional library on your left. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Kirova Street (вулиця Кірова). After about 300 meters, you will see the Sugar Monument ahead in the small park area on your left.
Public Transport
From the Sumy Bus Station, take bus number 16 or trolleybus number 1. Board the bus/trolleybus and ride for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Ploshcha Svobody' (Площа Свободи), which is a central square. From there, walk east along Soborna Street (вулиця Соборна) for about 500 meters, then turn left onto Kirova Street (вулиця Кірова) and walk for another 200 meters. The Sugar Monument will be located on your right in the small park.
