If you are driving, start from the town of Polyanytsya in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. From the center of Polyanytsya, head east on the main road (H-09) for about 5 kilometers. Look for signs leading to the Svydovets Mountains. Once you reach the fork in the road near the village of Yablunytsia, take the left turn onto the dirt road that leads into the mountains. Continue on this road for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the base of Mountain Dovha. There is usually parking available at the base, but be prepared for some rough terrain. Note that if you do not have a suitable vehicle, you may need to park and hike the final distance to the mountain.
