Car
From Vorokhta, head southeast on the H09 highway towards Yaremche. Continue on H09 for approximately 10 kilometers. After passing through Yaremche, take a left onto the R24 road towards Tatariv. Follow the R24 for about 7 kilometers until you reach a small parking area near the base of Hora Shpytsi. Ensure you have a good map or GPS, as the road can be narrow and winding.
Public Transportation
From Vorokhta, you can catch a local bus heading towards Yaremche. The bus station is located near the center of Vorokhta. The fare is typically around 20 UAH. Once you arrive in Yaremche, transfer to another bus going to Tatariv. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the nearest stop to Hora Shpytsi. From there, it is a short hike (about 1-2 kilometers) to reach the peak. Be sure to check local schedules for bus times, as they can vary.
Hiking
If you prefer an adventurous approach, you can start your hike from Vorokhta itself. The trail begins near the center of Vorokhta. Follow the signs towards Hora Shpytsi. The hike is approximately 8 kilometers and takes about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Ensure you wear proper hiking shoes and bring enough water, as the trail can be steep and rugged.
