Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the main road (E611) towards Jebel Jais. Drive until you reach the fork that leads to Jebel Jais and follow the signs. Continue driving for approximately 30 minutes. You will pass the Jebel Jais Viewing Deck, which is a good place to stop for photos. As you approach the Shisha View Point, look for the signs indicating the viewpoint. The exact location is approximately 1.5 km past the Jebel Jais Viewing Deck. You can park your vehicle in the designated parking area near the viewpoint.
Public Transportation
Currently, there are limited public transportation options directly to Jebel Jais. If you are relying on public transportation, your best bet is to take a bus from Ras Al Khaimah city to the base of Jebel Jais. From the bus stop, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a ride-sharing service to take you up to the Shisha View Point. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they are familiar with the location as it can sometimes be tricky to find. Expect to pay around 50 AED for the taxi ride from the bus stop to the viewpoint.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of Jebel Jais and prefer to walk, you can hike from the nearby Jebel Jais Viewing Deck to Shisha View Point. The trail is approximately 1.5 km and is moderately challenging. Be sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and carry enough water. The hike offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains, but be cautious as the trail can be rocky in places.
