If you are traveling by car within Liwa Oasis, start from the Liwa Hotel, which is a common point for tourists. Head southeast on Liwa Road (E20) for about 10 kilometers. You will pass several beautiful date palm orchards along the way. As you approach the fort, look for signs indicating Liwa Fort. Turn left onto a small road that leads directly to the fort, which will be on your right after approximately 2 kilometers.

For those relying on public transport, you can catch a bus from the nearest bus stop in Liwa Oasis. Look for the bus heading towards Madinat Zayed. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the stop for Liwa Fort. This might take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you disembark, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the fort, following the signs that lead you along a dirt path.

If you are already nearby and wish to walk to Liwa Fort, ensure you have suitable footwear as the path may be uneven. Starting from the Liwa Hotel, head southeast along Liwa Road (E20) for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the smaller road leading to the fort. Turn right and continue walking for another 2 kilometers until you reach the fort. Keep an eye out for local signage to help guide your way.
