Travel Guide to Belfast City Hall

Getting There

• Car

  To drive from Antrim to Belfast City Hall, first get onto the A26 from Antrim. Follow the A26 for approximately 12 miles until you reach the M2 motorway. Merge onto the M2 motorway heading south towards Belfast. Stay on the M2 for about 12 miles, then take the exit towards A12/M3/Belfast City Centre. Continue on the A12 and follow signs for Belfast City Centre. After you enter the city, follow the signs towards Donegall Square North. There are several car parks nearby, including the Q-Park on Victoria Street, which charges around £2.50 per hour.

• Public Transportation - Train

  To take the train from Antrim to Belfast City Hall, first head to Antrim train station. Purchase a ticket to Belfast Central Station, which costs around £5.50 for a single journey. Trains run regularly throughout the day, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Belfast Central Station, exit the station and walk towards the City Hall, which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs toward the city center, then head towards Donegall Square North. You will see the City Hall on your right.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  If you prefer to take the bus, you can catch the 109A or 109B bus from Antrim to Belfast. Buses leave from the Antrim Bus Station, and you can buy a ticket from the driver; a single ticket costs around £4. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Europa Bus Centre in Belfast, you can walk to the City Hall, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Exit the bus station and head towards Great Victoria Street, then follow the signs to Donegall Square North.
