If you're traveling by car, navigate to Inveraray using the A83 road. From the north, take the A82 from Glasgow, then follow the A83 through Tarbet until you reach Inveraray. The castle is located just off the main road in the center of the village. There is parking available at the castle, but note that there may be a parking fee, so be prepared with some change.

If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from nearby towns. The West Coast Motors service runs from Glasgow or Oban to Inveraray. Check the schedule on their website for timetables. The bus will drop you off at the main bus stop in Inveraray, which is a short walk from the castle. Be aware that you may need to purchase a ticket in advance, and the journey takes approximately 2 hours.

Once you arrive at the Inveraray bus stop, exit the bus and walk along the main street towards the castle. It is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards the castle, and you will soon see the impressive structure ahead. Take your time to enjoy the scenic views along the way.
