Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Bath, head towards Bath Spa Railway Station. When you exit the station, turn left onto Dorchester Street and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Manvers Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with James Street West. Turn right onto James Street West, and follow it as it turns into Westgate Street. Keep walking until you reach the traffic lights at the junction with Upper Borough Walls. Cross the road and continue straight onto North Parade. Eventually, you will find yourself at the Bath Abbey. From there, continue straight onto Abbeygate Street, then turn left onto Stall Street. Follow the road until it becomes Cheap Street, and keep going until you reach the end of the street. Turn right onto Saw Close and continue until you reach the junction with the A4 (London Road). Cross over the A4 and continue along the road until you reach the bus stop for Bristol. From there, catch a direct bus to Bristol City Centre. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bristol, get off at the stops near Park Street. Walk towards Brandon Hill Park, and you will soon see Cabot Tower prominently located in the park.

    From Bath, head to the Bath Spa Railway Station. Purchase a ticket to Bristol Temple Meads. Trains run regularly throughout the day, taking about 15-20 minutes to reach Bristol. Once you arrive at Bristol Temple Meads, exit the station and head towards the bus stop located right outside the station. Take bus number 8 or 9 towards the city center. Get off at the stop near Park Street. From there, it’s a short walk to Brandon Hill Park where you can find Cabot Tower.
