If you're starting from the city center, head towards the main shopping area on Southgate Street. Continue straight onto Upper Borough Walls and follow it until you reach Bath Abbey. From Bath Abbey, walk down Abbey Green and take a right onto Barton Street. Continue straight until you reach Pulteney Bridge, then cross the bridge and turn left onto the River Avon path. Follow the river until you reach the entrance to Royal Victoria Park. Enter the park, and The Great Dell will be located within the park on your right.

From the Bath Spa Railway Station, exit the station and walk straight onto Dorchester Street. Follow the road until it turns into Manvers Street. Continue walking until you reach the junction with North Parade Road. Turn right onto North Parade Road, then take the first left onto Great Pulteney Street. Walk straight until you reach the entrance of Royal Victoria Park. Once inside, The Great Dell is located to your right within the park.
