Car
If you are driving, start from the central area of Blackpool. Head north on the Promenade (A584). Continue on the A584 until you reach the roundabout at the end of the Promenade. Take the second exit onto the A587 (Norbreck Road). Follow Norbreck Road until you see signs for Norbreck Slipway. There is limited parking available nearby, so be prepared to find a spot along the road or in designated parking areas. Be aware of parking fees which may apply.
Bus
To reach Norbreck Slipway by bus, head to the nearest bus stop in central Blackpool. You can take the number 11 or 12 bus, which travels along the Promenade. Look for stops marked for Norbreck. Once you reach the Norbreck stop, it will be a short walk to the slipway. Check local bus schedules and be prepared for a small fare, usually around £2.00 to £3.00 for a single journey.
Tram
If you prefer traveling by tram, head to the nearest tram stop on the Promenade. Board a tram heading north towards Fleetwood. Get off at the Norbreck Castle stop. From there, it is a short walk to the Norbreck Slipway. The tram fare is approximately £2.00 for a single journey. Check the tram timetable for the latest departure times.
Walking
If you are already near the Promenade, you can walk to Norbreck Slipway. Simply head north along the Promenade until you reach Norbreck Road. Turn left onto Norbreck Road, and you will soon see signs for the slipway. This walk is pleasant and allows you to enjoy the seaside views, taking around 15-20 minutes depending on your starting point.
