Revolution holds the distinction of being the first roller coaster in Europe to feature a full 360-degree inversion. Constructed in 1979 by Arrow Development, this launched shuttle coaster was a groundbreaking addition to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, a park renowned for its rich history of thrill rides. Its design includes a vertical loop and two raised platforms connected by a straight launch track, creating a unique shuttle experience where riders traverse the loop forwards and then backwards.

Originally painted in red and white with Union Jack motifs, Revolution has undergone several aesthetic transformations. In the 1990s, it was sponsored by Irn-Bru and sported bright orange and blue colors. Since 2012, it has adopted a sleek gunmetal grey and white color scheme with a vibrant red train, giving it a futuristic look that contrasts with its vintage engineering. Despite minimal theming, its seaside location and classic coaster design offer a nostalgic charm.
