If you're traveling by car, start your journey from Brecon. Head south on the A40 towards Abergavenny. After approximately 12 miles, take the exit for the A4059 towards Aberdare. Continue on the A4059 for about 8 miles until you reach the village of Pontneddfechan. Look for signs to the 'Waterfall Country' and follow the B4242 for approximately 2 miles. You will find the car park at the end of the road, which is the closest parking area to Sgwd Yr Eira.
