Getting There

Bus
From Bristol city centre, head to the bus station located at Marlborough Street. Take the X4 bus towards Cardiff. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Get off at the stop 'Central Station' in Cardiff. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Museum of Cardiff. Exit the station and turn left onto Station Terrace, then continue straight onto Churchill Way. Cross the road and follow the signs for St David's Centre. The museum is located inside The Old Library at The Hayes.

Make your way to Bristol Temple Meads train station. Board a train heading to Cardiff Central. The train journey takes around 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Cardiff Central, exit the station and walk straight down to the main road. Turn left onto Station Terrace and then right onto Churchill Way. Continue straight until you reach St David's Centre. The Museum of Cardiff is located inside The Old Library at The Hayes.

If you are already in central Bristol, you can take a scenic walk to the bus or train station. Head to the Bristol Cathedral area, then walk towards the city centre, following signs to the bus or train stations. From there, you can use the previously mentioned bus or train options to reach Cardiff.
