To reach Chainbridge by car, start from Chester, Cheshire. Head northwest on the A483 towards Wrexham. Continue onto the A5, following signs for Llangollen. As you approach Llangollen, take the exit toward the A5104. Follow the A5104 until you reach the town of Llangollen. Once in Llangollen, follow signs for the A5 towards Corwen. After crossing the River Dee, take a left onto the B4500, which will lead you to Chainbridge located at Llantysilio, Llangollen LL20 8BS. There is parking available near the bridge, but check for any parking fees that might apply.

If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a train from Chester to Llangollen. Trains run regularly from Chester Station to Llangollen Station, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Llangollen Station, you can either walk (approximately 30 minutes) or take a local taxi to Chainbridge. For walking, head southwest on Station Road, then take the B4500 towards Chainbridge. The scenic walk will take you through the beautiful landscape of Llangollen, eventually leading you to the bridge. Taxis are also available at the station, with fares varying depending on the distance.
