From Carlisle, take the A69 road eastbound towards Newcastle. After about 10 miles, take the exit for the B6318 towards Brampton. Continue on the B6318 for about 5 miles until you reach the village of Lanercost. Follow signs for Lanercost Priory. There is a small car park available at the Priory, but it can fill up quickly during peak times.

From Carlisle, take a train to Brampton station. The journey takes about 15 minutes.
