If you are driving to Rowtor Rocks from anywhere in Derbyshire, use the following directions: Take the A6 towards Matlock. Once in Matlock, follow the signs for the B5057 towards Bakewell. Continue on the B5057 until you reach the village of Birchover. Once in Birchover, look for parking options nearby; there are a few lay-bys and small car parks available. The coordinates for Rowtor Rocks are approximately 53.1563° N, 1.6494° W. From the parking area, it is a short walk to the rocks.

To reach Rowtor Rocks using public transportation, take a train to Matlock station. From Matlock, you can catch a bus towards Bakewell (Bus number 6 or 6.1). Ask the bus driver to drop you off at Birchover. From the bus stop in Birchover, follow the signs or walk towards the Rowtor Rocks, which is approximately a 20-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus timetable for return trips.
