Ebrington Greenway: A Scenic Retreat in Londonderry

Getting There

• Walking

  From the city center, head northwest on Shipquay Street towards the Guildhall. Continue straight to cross the Peace Bridge, which will lead you directly towards Ebrington Greenway. The bridge offers beautiful views of the River Foyle. Once you cross the bridge, follow the path that leads into the greenway area. Ebrington Greenway is well-signposted, so keep an eye out for directional signage indicating the park.

• Public Transport

  You can take a bus from the city center to Ebrington Square. Board the bus at the Foyle Street Bus Station. Look for buses heading towards Ebrington, such as the 14 or 15 routes. Once you arrive at Ebrington Square, exit the bus and walk toward the Peace Bridge. Follow the same walking directions as mentioned above, crossing the bridge to enter Ebrington Greenway.

• Cycling

  If you have a bicycle, you can cycle from the city center to Ebrington Greenway. Start from the Guildhall and head towards the Peace Bridge. There are bike racks available near the bridge. Cross the Peace Bridge and take the immediate left onto the cycle path that leads into Ebrington Greenway. Enjoy the scenic ride along the path, which is dedicated to cyclists and pedestrians.
