Walking
If you are starting from Dundee city centre, head towards the west on the High Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Nethergate. Turn left onto Nethergate and continue until you reach the junction with the Perth Road. Here, turn right onto Perth Road and walk for about 15 minutes. You will pass several shops and cafes along the way. Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Balgay Park.

From the city centre, you can take bus number 3 or 4 towards Balgay Park. Board the bus at the stop near the Wellgate Shopping Centre. The journey will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop on Perth Road, close to the entrance of the park. Follow the signs to the park entrance, which is a short walk from the bus stop.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in the city centre. Head towards the West Marketgait and cycle along the Dighty Water path, which will lead you towards Balgay Park. The cycling route is scenic and takes around 20 minutes. Follow the signs for Balgay Park as you approach the area.
