From the city center, head to the Dundee Bus Station located at 1, 3, 5, & 7, Gellatly Street, Dundee DD1 3DY. Take the X7 or 73 bus towards Broughty Ferry. The journey will take about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Broughty Ferry Esplanade'. From the bus stop, walk towards the Esplanade, and you will see the entrance to Barnhill Rock Garden along the waterfront.

Make your way to Dundee Railway Station located at 1 South Union Street, Dundee DD1 4BF. Take a train towards Broughty Ferry Station, which is a short 10-minute ride. Once you arrive at Broughty Ferry Station, exit the station and walk towards the Esplanade. Turn left and walk along the waterfront for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Barnhill Rock Garden.

If you're near the Esplanade in Broughty Ferry, simply walk along the waterfront. If you are starting from Broughty Castle, head east along the Esplanade for about 10 minutes. Barnhill Rock Garden will be on your right-hand side, easily accessible from the pathway.
