Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the Dundee train station, exit the station and head towards the main road, which is Lochee Road. Turn right and walk down Lochee Road for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with High Street. Turn left onto High Street and continue walking straight until you reach City Square, which will be on your right-hand side. The square is a bustling area with shops and cafes, so you can't miss it.

From the V&A Dundee, walk towards the waterfront and head west along the promenade. Continue along the path until you reach the main road, then turn left onto the Discovery Walk. Follow this road until you reach the junction with Victoria Road. Turn right onto Victoria Road, and after a short walk, City Square will be on your left. The area is vibrant and often has street performances.

If you are near the Overgate Shopping Centre, you can take a local bus that services the city centre. Look for buses heading towards City Square or the City Centre. Once you board the bus, it will take approximately 10 minutes to reach City Square. The bus will stop at the main bus terminal located very close to the square, making it easy to find.

From the Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA), exit the building and head towards the main road, which is either Greenmarket or Lochee Road. Walk straight down until you reach the junction with High Street. Turn right onto High Street, and after a short walk, City Square will be on your right. This area is often lively, perfect for enjoying your time.
