From the city center of Dundee, head north on Nethergate towards the Overgate Shopping Centre. Continue walking north on Nethergate until you reach the junction with Hawkhill. Turn left onto Hawkhill and continue walking uphill until you reach the University of Dundee campus. Follow signs for the Botanic Garden and continue through the garden until you reach Riverside Drive. Cross Riverside Drive and continue walking north along the footpath next to the river. After a short distance, you will see a sign for Balgarthno Stone Circle. Follow the signs to reach the stone circle.

From the city center of Dundee, walk to the nearest bus stop and catch bus number 5 towards Whitfield. Get off at the stop near the University of Dundee campus. From there, walk through the Botanic Garden towards Riverside Drive. Cross Riverside Drive and continue walking north along the footpath next to the river. Look out for signs for Balgarthno Stone Circle and follow them to reach the destination.
