If you are in the city center, start at the iconic Edinburgh Castle. Head south on Castlehill toward the High Street (Royal Mile). Turn left onto the High Street and continue until you reach the junction with the Vennel. Turn right onto the Vennel. The Vennel Viewpoint will be on your right at number 11, just a short walk away.

Catch a bus from Waverley Bridge, which is close to the city center. Look for bus numbers 37, 67, or 22 heading towards the Grassmarket area. Get off at the Grassmarket stop. From there, walk up West Bow, then turn left onto the Vennel. The Vennel Viewpoint will be at number 11 on your right.

If you prefer to take a taxi, you can hail one from anywhere in the city center. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'The Vennel Viewpoint, 11, 1 Vennel, EH1 2HU'. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance of the viewpoint.

Take the tram from the Edinburgh Airport tram stop towards York Place. Get off at the St Andrew Square stop. From there, walk to Waverley Bridge and follow the walking directions mentioned above to reach the Vennel Viewpoint.
