Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the city center, start at Princes Street, which is one of the main shopping streets. Head towards the west end of Princes Street and take a left onto Lothian Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Bread Street. Turn right onto Bread Street, and then take the first left onto King Stables Road. Continue on King Stables Road until you reach the end, and then turn left onto the A8. Follow the A8 until you see the signs for Dean Village. You will cross over a bridge and immediately see signs pointing you towards Dean Path. Follow the signs down the path, and you will arrive at Dean Village.

  • Bus

    From the city center, you can catch bus number 37 or 23 from the bus stop at Lothian Road (near the Usher Hall). Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop called 'Dean Village.' The bus ride will take around 10-15 minutes. Once you get off, follow the signs and walk down Dean Path to reach the heart of Dean Village.

  • Tram

    If you're near the tram stop at York Place, board a tram heading towards the Airport. Get off at the 'West End - Princes Street' stop. From there, walk down Lothian Road and follow the same directions as the walking route above to get to Dean Village.
