From Edinburgh city center, head to the St Andrew Square bus stop. Take the Lothian Bus number 41 towards 'Cramond'. Stay on the bus for about 30 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Lauriston Castle' which is located directly outside the castle. The bus runs frequently, so you won't have to wait long.

If you prefer to walk, start from the city center at Princes Street. Head west towards Lothian Road and continue straight until you reach the junction with the A70. Turn left onto the A70 and walk towards the Cramond area. After about 1.5 miles, turn right onto Cramond Road South, and Lauriston Castle will be on your left after a short distance.
